Development Internship
Project Description:
This internship will offer a board scope of projects designed to give experience in many aspects of the Development office.
Duties may include:
- Mailing membership info to prospects
- Assisting with membership sales at special events (on evenings and weekends)
- Research funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and other sources
- Restructure museum’s filing system for donor records
- Database clean up work and reporting (training and direct supervision for projects of this type)
Hours:
Flexible depending on department and intern' needs.
Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship.
Qualifications:
- Some college experience necessary
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experienced with computer databases, as well as all Microsoft Office programs
- Be able to complete assigned tasks on time and is attentive to details
- Preferably a student working towards a degree in Business or related field
