Guided tours of the Hezekiah Alexander Homesite are at 11:30am, 1:15pm, and 3:15pm daily, Tuesday-Friday, and 1:15pm and 3:15pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tours limited to 20 people. Please register at the desk when you arrive at the museum, as the tours are first come, first serve. The average visit to the museum and Homesite lasts three to four hours. Plan for one to two hours inside the museum, and at least an hour and a half for the Homesite tour.

Plan your visit on one of those dates!
Each of the five galleries in the museum is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator allowing access between the first and second floors. Restrooms located on both floors are also wheelchair accessible. The Hezekiah Alexander House, on the grounds of the Charlotte Museum of History, is not wheelchair accessible.
